Attics have a way of becoming the place where stuff goes to disappear. Out of sight, out of mind - until it isn't. That's exactly what we were dealing with here. Boxes stacked to the rafters, old lumber, loose insulation debris, bags of miscellaneous junk, and years worth of accumulated items crammed into a low, hot space with barely enough room to move around.

This was actually our second visit to this property in Stayton. We had already taken care of some junk piles around the shed on a previous trip. Her son had been working on clearing out other spaces on the property too. But this attic? It was just too much to take on without help. That's a pretty common situation - family can only do so much before the job gets too big, too hot, or too physically demanding to keep pushing through.

Talon worked the attic, tossing everything down while MacKenzie loaded it all into the trailer below. It's a two-person job that requires coordination - especially when you're crawling around in a cramped, sweltering space in the middle of summer. One wrong move and you're knee-deep in blown insulation with nowhere to go. We've done enough of these to know how to move efficiently and get it done without making a bigger mess than what was already there.

What ended up being a completely overwhelming space - stuffed full of old appliances, boxes, scrap lumber, random bags, and miscellaneous gear - cleared out into a single trailer load. That's the thing about attic junk: it looks like way more than it is once it's organized and loaded up. The stress of staring at it every time you open that hatch is always worse than the actual job of hauling it away.

Whether it's a first call or a return visit, we're glad to come back out and keep chipping away at the clutter. Some properties take a few trips. That's totally fine with us. We're here to make it easier, not add to the stress.
